"None of us perceive the world in exactly the same way. Our oneness lies in a yearning to touch and to understand. My work is an endeavor to share my thoughts and vision through form and color and relationships, hoping to charge my images with meaning which will reach across the spaces between us."

Over the years I’ve learned to appreciate excellence although I rarely achieve it. The closest I come is in the ephemeral areas of concept and integrity. But, since I believe that my next effort will be my best, I will continue to pursue excellence.

Description

The circular shape of the sun which emphasizes the evr occuring cyclical nature of the seasons is the origin of this neolithic symbol. It combines a cross within a circle and is the simplist conceivable representation to the union of opposed polarities. Probable the oldest symbol in the world, it appeared in Asia, America, European and Indian art from the dawn of history.

One interpretation say that the four-armed cross represents shadows cast by the rising and setting sun at the two solsitices. The circle eventually disappeared and became the “Real” Cross. This solar, or wheel cross. is recreated in silver,is recreted in silver from a petroglyph found at Red Tank Draw near Sedona, Arizona
