Experience the 22nd Annual Sedona Plein Air Festival, an immersive celebration of art set against the extraordinary red rock landscapes of Sedona and the surrounding Verde Valley.
As one of the longest-running plein air festivals in the Southwest, this annual event brings accomplished artists from across the country to paint on location throughout the week, capturing Sedona’s changing light, color, landscape, and atmosphere in real time.
Visitors can watch artists at work throughout the region and experience a week of paint-outs, artist demonstrations, special events and awards. From works taking shape outdoors to opportunities to meet the artists and experience their creative process firsthand, the festival offers a unique opportunity to see plein air painting as it happens.

Celebrate Sedona engages the local community while celebrating and featuring local and regional arts, food and drink! Held in the upper parking lot of Sedona Arts Center, Celebrate Sedona is a celebration of the beauty and diversity of our community’s music, food, drink, and artistry.
Our Celebrate Sedonas are on Fridays and incorporate the openings of our Exhibitions so we can have the Artists join the festivities and officially open the current Exhibition. The event takes place from 4 pm to 6 pm and features local musicians, food, wine and beer, and live demonstrations by local artists!

The Arts Center will host a Roll Out event during FY24 in Sedona, to reveal the results of this national economic impact study of the nonprofit arts and culture industry including the local data collected throughout the course of the past year by Sedona nonprofit arts organizations.
