Milky Way Majesty
The well-known landscape along State Route 179 between the Village of Oak Creek and the city of Sedona is perfectly framed by the Milky Way at certain times of the year. The challenge is to find an unobstructed view on a cloudless night after the moon has set. From the right you can see Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte, Rabbit Ears, Lee Mountain, Gibraltar Rock and Twin Buttes.
