The Milky Way at Reflection Canyon

Located on the side of Lake Powell, on the border between Utah and Arizona, Reflection Canyon is an astonishing natural wonder. The water level of the lake can vary by more than 50 feet over a few months. When we visited the area in late April the water level was at its lowest in several years, and the spines of the S shape were clearly visible. It was a rare occurance and worth the effort of a difficult hike carrying camping equipment for two nights.
