Our Photographers are committed to bringing you the highest quality Fine Art Photography. To help in understanding some of the fine art photography reproductions styles, we’ve listed a few of the styles you may fine in our Artists’ galleries. Please keep in mind, not all Photographers will offer different styles of reproductions. Information on what they do offer will be listed under the description.

Matted Print: A photo print on high quality photo paper, with mat (unframed).

Giclée Print: Giclée (pronounced “zhee-clay”) is a reproduction method of a printing technique using a high-quality, high-resolution printer that can both match color and apply ink precisely, giving artists a high-quality print of their original art.

Each Artist will have their own unique method and materials for their Giclee prints, as well as materials used for the mounted back.

Acrylic Mount Print: These prints are made by face mounting a giclée or metallic print to 1/8 inch cast acrylic using an ultra-clear adhesive and then backing both with an inflexible Sintra mounting board

Metal Float Mount Print: Dye-Infused Metal prints represent a new art medium for preserving photos by infusing dyes directly into specially coated metal sheets. They are vibrant and have a luminous back-lit quality that paper prints cannot achieve. Because the image is infused into the surface and not on it, the archival qualities of this unique process are unparalleled. The coating is largely scratch proof, and shows less glare than prints framed under glass. The addition of a Floating Frame is a further enhancement to this modern look. Metal Frames also come ready to hang!

Metal Easel Print: Same process as a float mount print, with the addition of the attached stand for any desk or table.

Framed Metal Float Mount: The print is the same as the Metal Print, with the addition of a Metal Frame (Aluminum) that the Print sits in, which adds a “floating” effect inside the frame.
