The Wave Reflected

The Wave is a sandstone rock formation located near the Arizona-Utah border, in the South Coyote Buttes.  It is famous among hikers and photographers for its colorful, undulating forms, and the rugged, 6 mile round trip hike required to reach it. Access is limited to 20 people a day, selected by a heavily subscribed lottery process and winning a permit is cause for celebration.  It is a bonus to get the pool of water coupled with a good sky and no wind.
