The Sedona Arts Center is a nonprofit educational institution dedicated to nurturing
creative discovery, learning and sharing through arts education and artistic development.
The Center’s Fine Art Gallery showcases the largest selection in Sedona of artwork by local artists. If you are seeking a rare piece of fine art, a gift of exquisite jewelry, appreciate stunning photography, or looking for a lovely keepsake from your visit to Sedona, the Arts Center has it all. New Featured Artists are presented every two months. We are currently open three days per week, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10 am – 5 pm and by private appointment.
Our Online Art Gallery allows you shop and browse from the convenience of your home. You can explore our Featured Artists or any of the work from the over 100 artists represented by our gallery. Browse the entire gallery or choose to look at specific categories of interest including painting, sculpture jewelry and more. Purchases can be made at any time with shipping included.
Workshops offer an intensive experience that will give students information to distill and practice for months and even years afterwards. A wide variety of disciplines and mediums are offered. Most are appropriate for all levels of students with some designed specifically for intermediate and advanced students. Explore an ever expanding selection of online workshops as well.
Taking classes on our campus in Uptown Sedona affords the opportunity not only to explore the arts, but also to meet new neighbors and immerse yourself in the Sedona arts community. We have a vibrant Ceramics department and ongoing instruction is available in painting. Crash Courses are perfect for beginners, those wanting a refresher, or artists in search of new creative tools.
Loving Bowls is being done in a whole new way this year…and it has already started! This year we are selling Loving Bowls on an ongoing basis in our Fine Arts Gallery! Professional volunteer potters have made and glazed all the bowls and they sell for $10 each. Larger “Salad” bowls sell for $50 each. All sales benefit Meals on Wheels, Food Bank, Humane Society, Verde Valley Sanctuary and the educational programming at the Sedona Arts Center.
October 24 to 31, 2020. Join us for a Sedona Plein Air Festival unlike anything that we done before! – not only will this be a, first of its kind, all-woman festival, but the festival will be presented completely online. Each artist will be sending in work from their own locations for presentation in the Arts Center’s online Gallery. At the conclusion of the festival week, well known plein air artist, Lyn Boyer of Colorado will conduct an online awards ceremony.
