Ceramics Classes

The Dennis Ott Ceramics Studio at Sedona Arts Center is home to a thriving creative community built on a tradition of ceramics education dating back to 1958. Inspired by the legacy of beloved ceramicist and educator Dennis Ott, the studio continues to provide a welcoming environment where artists of all experience levels can explore, experiment, and grow.

From wheel throwing and handbuilding to glazing, surface decoration, and alternative firing techniques, our ceramics program offers a diverse range of classes and workshops led by experienced instructors and nationally recognized guest artists. Through hands-on learning, creative exploration, and a supportive community, students are encouraged to develop their skills, discover new possibilities, and find their own artistic voice.
