Ceramics Courses

The Sedona Arts Center’s ceramics department is a thriving creative community, deeply inspired by the legacy of Dennis Ott, beloved ceramicist and educator. Now under the direction of studio manager Ben Roti, and enriched by the expertise of instructors John Post and Lolo Howe, our program offers students a welcoming environment for exploration and growth in the ceramic arts.

Operating free from traditional grading, our ceramics department supports learning at all levels. With diverse programming led by Ben, John, Lolo, and nationally recognized guest instructors, students can explore both traditional and contemporary techniques, benefiting from flexible, hands-on instruction that encourages artistic expression and discovery.

**Please note: Ceramics classes are designed for persons ages 16 and over(unless otherwise noted), or with instructor approval.

The Ceramics Studio will be closed:

July 21^th – July 26^th, 2025 (Summer Break)

October 20^th – October 25^th, 2025 (Sedona Plein Air Week)

December 22^nd – December 27th, 2025 (Winter Holiday Break)
