Nichole is a native of Arizona, growing up north of Phoenix. She received a BFA from Northern Arizona University and began working in the art industry. She has been painting for over 25 years and has shown in galleries throughout the southwest. She has paintings that can be found in collections throughout the United States and Europe. “I strive to create works that elicit an emotional response from the viewer while letting them fill in the blanks with their own interpretation. In order to establish a certain mood, I aim to capture light and its reflections on the canvas. My passion for painting is found in my subject matter…people and the world around us. Oil is my medium of choice because it allows for variations on the surface through thickness of paint, and because of this, texture plays an integral part in my paintings.”
