I am a rag and bone artist.  With an array of mixed media techniques, I form a new narrative from natural elements and discarded items which have been left behind.  I recycle and shape the leftovers into  sculptures, assemblages, shrines, and altered and hand-made books creating a new story.

After two years of formal art training in my college years, life took me on a long detour into another career while supporting my family.  Fourteen years ago I returned to art, taking many classes to re-fresh my skills and learn new techniques. I embarked on a whole new, long awaited, career.

I live, create, and exhibit my work in local galleries and book stores in Long Beach, California.   I have participated in numerous annual shows in my hometown as well as in Joshua Tree, California. I have exhibited my work in Laguna Beach, California,  Sedona, Arizona, Pennsylvania, New York, New Mexico, and Canada.

I continue to participate in art classes and residencies to enhance and perfect my skills.  There is always more, and something new to learn.
