Danny Warhole (He/Him)

Danny Warhole is a Midwest native who resides in San Diego, California. Danny creates artwork in various mediums, including acrylic pointillism paintings and digital figure drawings that utilize straight lines to develop shadows and contours of the human body. Danny’s inspiration often comes from looking through media or walking through a museum, and then striving to create the representation that he feels is missing in the world. Danny’s work is part auto-biography, part travel log, part drag, part love letter to his husband, and part tribute to the history and evolution of gay culture. Danny’s work has been accepted into juried art shows including The Dirty Show 2023 (Detroit, MI), PROUD+ 2023 (San Diego, CA), CLAW Kinky Art Show 2023 (Los Angeles, CA), and most recently, The Big Gay Art Show 2023 (Sedona, AZ). Danny was also selected as the winner of the Desert Gay Tourism Guild design contest in 2020 (Palm Springs, CA).

Danny’s work is currently being exhibited at The Gallery at Circus of Books (West Hollywood, CA) and at PS Homeboys (Palm Springs, CA). Danny previously exhibited work at The Studio Door (San Diego, CA), and at events including the 2023 InterPride World Conference and 2023 North County LGBTQ Resource Center Gala.

In addition to creating artwork, Danny serves as a volunteer committee member of San Diego Art in Pride.
