Allyn grew up in San Diego, California, where they earned a dual degree in Studio Art and Psychology from San Diego State University. After pursuing various creative projects in California’s East Bay Area and Portland, Oregon, Allyn moved to the Midwest during the pandemic summer of 2020. They currently reside in Bloomington, Indiana, with their partner and two cats who tend to appear in their work. Their painted collages blend observed moments and little objects with backgrounds of their imagination, seeking to create links between their external and internal worlds.
