Alex Blom (He/They)
Alex Blom (he/they) is a practicing artist currently living and working in Denver, CO. Originally hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, Blom’s work uses bright color, adornment, and the self as subject to discuss religion’s intersection with (queer) identity. Although he no longer identifies with the Catholic faith, it is undeniable that the many years surrounded by religious iconography and Catholic culture have left a deep impression on his life and the way they approach his studio practice. Alex received his BA in Art with minors in Art History and Business Administration from the University of Denver in 2023 and is now based out of the Art Gym Denver.
