Show is on display from Jan 4th – 21st.

Keith Schall was well known for creating paintings that literally “Go Beyond the Canvas.” An artist, connoisseur and retired professor of 19th century British literature, the subjects for Keith Schall’s abstract paintings are inspired by poetry, mythology and jazz music. His works illustrate the soul of his subject directly speaking into the heart of the viewer. Schall was known for his mixed media style that literally goes beyond
the canvas adding different structure and shape to his work. He had always felt that abstract art came screeching to a halt at the edge of the canvas so he creatively carried out the artistic expression… beyond the canvas.

An intrinsic part of the Arizona art world for more than forty years, John Waddell has been teaching and exhibiting his work in exhibitions and permanent installations throughout the United States. Best known for bronze sculptures of female nudes in motion, John Waddell’s work has been acquired nationwide from the Mondavi Vineyards in Napa Valley, California to the Flushing Meadows Tennis Center in New York City. His sculptures are exhibited in many places in Arizona, including the Civic Plaza, the Sedona Cultural Park, and the Phoenix Art Museum. His sculptures are very prominent in the Civic Center of Phoenix, Arizona, especially in front of the Herberger Theater. John and his wife Ruth Waddell have lived in the Verde Valley, near Sedona, Arizona since 1970.

Please join us for this special artist reception on January 4th from 5pm-8pm.
