SPECIAL EXHIBITION: What Sedona Means To ME

September 2, 2022 - September 22, 2022

What Sedona Means To Me

Millions of people from all over the world visit Sedona annually. Each one comes away with their own unique impression of our region.  Sedona Arts Center is presenting a unique special exhibition, where artists have interpreted what Sedona means to them through their art… be it good, bad, ugly or amazing! Their art will illuminate their individual feelings for this special place many of us call home. The Special Exhibition and Sale will run from September 2 through 22, 2022 with a special artist meet and greet on Wednesday, September 7 during Celebrate Sedona from 4 to 6pm.

What Sedona Means to Me is Sedona Arts Center’s kick off to a Year of Stories. Over the next twelve months, artists’ stories surrounding their work will be featured during many of the Arts Center’s exhibitions, events, and more. This helps connect the audience to the art, which connects us all to each other.

The September 7th Celebrate Sedona will feature music by Well Dressed Wolves, food by Old Crow BBQ, and feature artist demonstration, a ceramics sale, wine, beer, and a whole lot of fun! Be sure to park for free in the lower parking lot off Art Barn Road and enjoy two hours of entertainment, while you meet the artists in the special exhibition and watch various artists demonstrate how they create their masterpieces.

Artists showing in this unique exhibition include: Luminous Antonio, Debra Behr, Susan Bisbee, Mary Brown, Cindy Carillo, Jessi Correa, Nancye Culbreath, Janice Davis, Karen Dearden, Christine Debrosky, Barbara Dickinson, Elaine Doke, Charles Eaton, Dawn Edwards, Julie Bernstein Engelmann, Debbie Ericksen, Gwen Meyer Ethelbah, Syri Hall, Melanie Chambers Hartman, Lynn Haygood Lee, Kathie Henderson, Mary Heyborne, Sandra Humphries, Linda Jones, Denize Katzen, Joyce Killebrew, Christine Liske, Nita Marlette, David Marsh, Mary Beth Michales, Susan Moody, Karen O’Donnell, Anton Pavlenko, Diane Phelps, Lisa Pracchis, Cynthia Radke, Marrin Robinson, Marie Rolf, Laur Rose, Mark Round, Stephanie Ruiz, Ron Rummell, Robert Shields, Jessica Sierra, LeAnne Sowa, Bobbie Stearn, Debroah Splain, Cathryn Stedman, Holly Stedman, Nori Thorne, Mike Tulson, Sterling West, Stephen Williamson, and Nicole Zenhousern.
