"Barbara’s work is all about the passion for black and white. She has the ability to build depth into her photography that comes through the use of light and all the tones of black to paint a scene with light. The goal is to allow the viewer to see the vision she has produced in her art. The light and shadow allow for what might have been just a two-dimensional photo into a scene that begs the viewer to imagine walking in the scene themselves.
