Sedona based artist, Lynne Lee Grigg, has been creating, designing and painting her entire life. After graduating UCLA with a degree in Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts, and attending Art Center College of Design, she had a successful career in Advertising as Chief Creative Officer of a global Marketing and Design firm, part of TBWA/Omnicom.
Now retired, she has channeled her creative energies by blending her design and painting skills with ceramics. Her work has always embraced themes of transformation, metamorphosis and spirit. She has been focused in recent years on creating pottery (hand-built and thrown) with clean, modern shapes, subtle but elegant colors and expressive textures. To Lynne, the clay offers a primal, intimate and malleable medium where the creative intention fully integrates with the spirit of the clay.
