Jonathan Fisher is a resident of Atlanta and teaches at Kennesaw State University where he serves as the Foundations Coordinator. Originally from western North Carolina, he earned his BFA in studio art with a concentration in printmaking from The University of North Carolina at Asheville and an MFA in studio art with a concentration in printmaking from Ohio State University. He has exhibited both nationally and internationally. His current interest is in abstract painting, exploring the role of clustering found in biology, astronomy, and man-made environments. Outside of art-making, he enjoys swimming, paddleboarding, and any activity that keeps him near water.
