I spent my formative years in Albuquerque, NM after moving from Flagstaff, AZ.  After High School I attended Eastern New Mexico University majoring in Fine Art.   My family moved to Tucson, AZ and I attended the University of Arizona taking additional art classes. I met and married my husband John in Tucson. We began our family in Flagstaff raising our three daughters in Arizona & Wyoming. His career relocated us to Wyoming then eventually to Silver City, New Mexico.  We retired to our favorite & forever town Flagstaff in 2010. During all of this time I was producing art and commissioned portraits.  I took additional art classes at Central Wyoming College and owned my own art gallery for several years in Riverton, Wyoming. In Silver City I was represented at 4 galleries as well as in Las Cruces, New Mexico.  I have shown in Juried shows in Casper & Dubois, WY; Denver & Ouray, CO; San Francisco, CA; Billings, Montana and Los Alamos, NM.

I produce art work in many mediums for the joy of creating experienced rather than considering what may sell. This is so much a part of who I am and what I do for as long as I can remember. It is always gratifying to have someone want my creations but I have been blessed, to have not had to produce my art only to be sold.
