I am a native German, was born in Langen (Hesse) near Frankfurt am Main and became interested in watercolor painting in 2004. First I studied German and English books about this medium, then began to exchange ideas on artist platforms on the Internet and attended national and international workshops with Martin Lutz, Willy Reichert, Roland Palmaerts, Pasqualino Fracasso, Amit Kapoor, Marc Folly and Alvaro Castagnet, among others. I have had solo exhibitions in my hometown of Langen, Idstein and Frankfurt and regularly participate in exhibitions of the German Watercolor Society (DAGGWS) as well as international watercolor exhibitions in Europe, Latin America, Canada, India and China. I am a member of the DAGGWS (German Watercolor Society) and co-representative of the International Watercolor Society (Germany) and German Representative of Urbinoinquarello. I also work as a lecturer at adult education centers and in branches of the art materials shop Boesner as well as in my own studio.
