Elizabeth St. Hilaire

Elizabeth St. Hilaire is a renowned mixed-media artist, instructor, and author recognized for her innova-tive approach to collage. Using hand-painted papers, she creates dynamic works celebrated for their bold color, intricate detail, and layered depth. Her art has been exhibited internationally and featured in prominent publications such as The Artist’s Magazine, Acrylic Artist Magazine, Cloth Paper Scissors, and Southern Living.

A Signature Member of the National Collage Society, St. Hilaire holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Syracuse University and has spent over 20 years exploring and refining her unique methods. She is the author of Painted Paper Art Workshop and has written numerous books and instructional guides to inspire artists around the globe.

Known for her engaging teaching style, St. Hilaire travels widely to lead workshops, sharing her pas-sion for creativity and the transformative power of collage. Her work has extended beyond gallery walls, appearing on textiles, home decor, and more, making her a leader in the modern collage movement.

Traci Owens

Traci Owens is a California-based artist and instructor known for her bold use of color, expressive imagery, and joyful creative spirit. After a successful career as a professional mural artist, she transitioned to full-time fine art, developing a distinctive style influenced by her extensive travels, including time spent in Africa and Europe.

Drawing inspiration from world cultures, patterns, and historical art, Traci creates vibrant paintings that celebrate imagination, storytelling, and personal expression. A lifelong student of art, she is passionate about encouraging others to embrace creativity, take risks, and discover their own artistic voice.

Traci works from her studio and gallery in Auburn, California, and regularly teaches workshops where she shares her enthusiasm for the creative process with artists of all experience levels.

Cancellation Policy

Registration and Cancellation Policies

Registration

  • Each student must enroll individually.
  • Classes must be paid in full upon registration.
  • Students may register online or call Sedona Arts Center Office at 928-282-3809, Ext 1 or toll free at 866-282-3809 Ext 1.
  • Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express are accepted or student may pay with cash or check by registering in person during office hours Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm.

In-Person and Online Classes Cancellation

  • Payment in full is due upon registration, or a payment plan can be put in place by the student upon check-out through Sezzle.
  • There is a $125 Cancellation Fee for any cancellations made before March 19, 2027. Remaining balance will be refunded.
  • There are no refunds after March 19, 2027.
  • If Sedona Arts Center cancels the workshop for any reason, all payments made will be refunded in full.

Note: If traveling to Sedona, we strongly urge students to purchase refundable airline tickets or travel insurance in case of workshop cancellation due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen changes. Sedona Arts Center is not responsible for non-refundable ticket purchases or lodging fees.

Important Message

Sedona Arts Center is not responsible for providing make-up sessions or issuing refunds, credits, or transfers for courses missed as a result of illness, emergencies, or other events beyond our control. There are absolutely no refunds after the cut-off date for any reason, unless Sedona Arts Center has to cancel the workshop, then all fees paid will be refunded in full.
