October is here and fall’s crisp air is upon us. Fall is my favorite season – the colors, the smells, the flavors, the cool mornings and warm afternoons. I love turning off the AC and throwing open the windows. And I look forward to one of Sedona Arts Center’s best events of the year – the 19th Sedona Plein Air Festival.
This year we have twenty-seven artists coming from across the country to paint our beautiful scenery and environs “en plein air”. We have nine days of activities – from workshops to paint outs to lectures and parties. And ART. We will have lots and lots of incredible art for sale throughout the festival. It is always an incredibly fun time.
In celebration of our 65th Anniversary, we are holding a COMMUNITY PAINT OUT on October 28 from 10AM-12PM with a goal of getting AT LEAST 65 painters painting at once. We welcome everyone for this event. You don’t have to be experienced. Or to have even painted prior! Prizes will be awarded and fun will be had!
