“Your contribution on Arizona Gives Day is important support for all that we provide on an ongoing basis as a community Arts Center. Challenging times give us a unique opportunity to engage our creativity. We have always wanted to expand our offerings into an online format, this crisis and closures of various aspects of the center creates both the need and opportunity to implement this technology. See our first online course offered below! Your donation ensures that we continue to offer innovative, quality programming.”
– Vince Fazio, Executive Director
At Sedona Arts Center we are now creating new live learning experiences through online classes for students all over the world. Help us build this new way of reaching more people by investing in Sedona Arts Center today.

The Sedona Arts Center meets the needs of students of all levels through its ongoing workshops and classes, including Crash Courses that include all materials for entry level students. The Center supports emerging artists through co-op exhibitions, student-faculty shows and membership exhibitions while representing over 100 professional local and regional artists in its Fine Art Gallery.
Help creativity blossom
As we experience all the noise and fear that permeates the media, we can help ourselves weather the storm by turning to the arts and engaging our senses with creative abandon. Art is a perfect tonic to soothe the anxiety we are all feeling.
If there wasn’t time before, maybe now is the perfect time to paint, draw, write stories or your memoir, keep a journal, sing, play an instrument, make something using found objects and mementos that have been languishing in a box or “junk” drawer, learn how to meditate or just be still and breathe.
Engaging our senses in creative pursuits can lift our spirits. If we open our minds and hearts to all the imagination has to offer, it’s amazing what can happen – what we can learn about ourselves and the world around us. The benefits of Creativity follow us throughout our lives.
— Debbie Winslow, Development Director
Funding from Arizona Gives Day will support the operations and programming of Sedona Arts Center, including new initiatives and community partnerships.
Arizona Gives and Arizona Gives Day is a collaboration between the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits and Arizona Grantmakers Forum that began in 2013. This partnership has helped raise more than $13.4 million for Arizona’s nonprofit sector. This online giving campaign takes place in early April each year.
Sedona Arts Center is one of Northern Arizona’s most well-established cultural organizations and serves as the creative heart of Sedona. Founded in 1958, the nonprofit organization is based at the Art Barn in Uptown and offers year-round classes, exhibitions, festivals, and cultural events that enhance the creative life of the Verde Valley. The Center’s Fine Art Gallery promotes the original works of over 100 local artists and regularly offers special assistance for collectors and art buyers, offers private studio visits, and fosters hundreds of arts education opportunities each year.
