Amy was raised on the east coast in Washington DC and settled there after graduating from Orthodontic School. She was a prominent Orthodontist and Pediatric Dentist in Potomac, Maryland for 26 years. She often would come to Sedona to unwind and vacation during her practice years and fell in love with the beautiful red rocks. Now retired, she has settled here full time. Although never formally trained in art, since retirement she has had time to explore different art forms and medias. Fusion of glass and exploration in colors is a passion. Each piece is created through an intuitive process and several firings. Her pieces are functional as well as decorative.
