“Free range artist” describes Deborah McAllister habit of painting outdoors wherever she finds herself. After a period of RV living and travel, being settled in the Verde Valley of Arizona allows easy access to some of America’s most dramatic landscapes such as Grand Canyon, Sedona red rocks and other nearby locations. Deborah is inspired by the beauty of God’s creation, effects of light, daily walks in nature. Gathering with other painters to capture the landscape at events such as Grand Canyon Celebration of Art is a highlight of Deborah’s schedule.
