Tucked along the rugged coastline of Acadia, this immersive workshop invites you to slow down and create intimate, meaningful art inspired by memory, reverence, and place. Together, we’ll craft pocket shrines, shadow box reliquaries, and layered journal pages, each a sacred container for honoring loved ones, inner truths, and quiet transformations.
Using vintage ephemera, mixed media, and found natural materials, we’ll build personal vessels of reflection: from fold-out paper altars backed with fabric to tiny assemblages in matchboxes or antique tins. Daily prompts and instructive art techniques will help guide your creative process as you stitch, collage, and reflect in the company of kindred spirits.
The Schoodic Institute, nestled within Acadia National Park, offers the perfect backdrop for this experience—ocean breezes, pine forests, and breathtaking views infuse each day with inspiration. Lodging and meals are included, allowing space to focus fully on creative restoration and soulful making.
