Jill Bell is a Brooklyn artist working in clay. She creates sculptural wall pieces and functional bowls and cups. Bell is fascinated by contrasting emotions, her work deals with the idea of life being simultaneously laughable and heart wrenching and she illustrate how these emotions can exist together in the same moment and the tension, irony and contradiction that result.
Bell has exhibited throughout the US and has work in the collections of: San Angelo Museum of Fine Art, Rohm & Haas and Derek Mason and Dan Jacobs
