Drawing inspiration from natural resources, she has focused on making couture pieces that often include materials found in the Sonoran Desert. Her art combines copper with fine metals, turquoise, pearls, cholla, fibers, leather, and semi-precious stones.
Celest Michelotti

Following two weeks as NASA’s guest at Kennedy Space Center, Celest Michelotti began her metals career with her award-winning “Echoes from the Future” Series. Although a classically trained pianist, the metal “in her genes” demanded expression (her grandfather, father, and brother have all worked with metals in a diversity of fields).
Celest’s designs continue to garner acclaim, including selection by the Society of American Goldsmiths’ International Pearl Design Competition, a coveted Niche Awards Finalist, her jewelry pictured American Craft Magazine, Ornament, and others, her pieces carried in major galleries across the country.
