I’m a current world champion duathlete on Team USA, a former professional cyclist and former Team USA trail runner. I’m currently residing in Grand Junction, CO and Santa Fe, NM.
My main focus is fine art composite photography and professional commercial photography/videography.
I create and produce photographic paintings through still photography or video frames in a uniquely layered way where realism is abstracted, and depth and relief are emphasized. I combine multiple still and video frames together, and these composites are an interpretive blend of motion, depth, forms, angles, textures, and lighting into one image.
These shots of an elite trail runner are created using chronography: nearly 1200 captured video frames combined into one single image. My inspiration comes from the floating and freedom of trail running over the surface of the earth. My projects are abstractions referencing the living, breathing, movement, complexity and beauty where multiple forces and visions become one.
