I have always had a love for art and tend to see the world in a different way. I received a BA in Fine Arts from UC Irvine and a teaching credential from UCSD. My education led me to being a graphic artist, an elementary school teacher and an art teacher. I especially enjoyed helping students discover and develop their unique artistic abilities and expression.
Having recently retired, I am able to concentrate on my own artwork. An artist’s journey is never complete, always pursuing new techniques, mediums and concepts. I am ever inspired by the beauty of the natural world that God has created…and the color blue!
I am an avid tennis player and am delighted to have my painting in this exhibit. This painting is near to my heart as it depicts my son and his passion for the game.
