Kathi Knox is a printmaker based in Phoenix. She studied art and agriculture at the University of Arizona, earning a bachelor’s degree in animal science and a master’s in information resources and library science. After a full-time career in natural resources, agriculture, and environment, she returned to art, focusing on printmaking. She has taken courses at Phoenix College and Phoenix Center for the Arts and participated in workshops on printmaking, color theory, design, painting, and ink and watercolor. She has worked as a printmaker’s assistant, conducted demonstrations on relief and intaglio printmaking, completed commissioned work, and taken photos for the AZ Weimaraner Rescue website and calendars. Her prints were accepted in juried exhibits (Element of Sport and Small Works at Sedona Arts Center, All Art Arizona at Art Intersection in Gilbert, and I am You, You are Me portraits exhibit in Scottsdale). She participated in a local artists exhibit and fundraiser at Grinders Coffee in Phoenix, and the La Calaca Press International print exchange, exhibited in Nicaragua, Pakistan, Spain, Australia and the U.S.
