Fall has flown by and now the holiday season is upon us. We here at Sedona Arts Center have much to be thankful for – including all of you.
First, I want to report that this year’s Sedona Plein Air Festival was a huge success. The artists had a fantastic time painting our glorious scenery and environs, we had throngs of people at all the events and we had wonderful support through sponsorships and painting purchases. It was truly fantastic – and exhausting! But now we’ve recovered.
And only a few days after the close of Plein Air we opened our Contemporary Surrealism exhibit in conjunction with Celebrate Sedona. This is absolutely one of, if not, the BEST exhibit we’ve ever had here at Sedona Arts Center (actual statement by a longtime resident). It can’t be missed! It will be open until November 30 so I encourage you to come by and check it out.
You can check out our Gallery Shop while you are at it. We are starting to get in holiday inventory and there are hundreds of beautiful items to purchase for those on your holiday lists. All the while you will be supporting local and regional artists as well as the Arts Center!
The Big Gay Art Show opens on December 6 with Celebrate Sedona and a fun holiday dance party so please be here!
