Alex Rupert , 32, is a classically trained illustrator and avid woodworker from New York with a repertoire of murals, public art and international art residencies. While traveling the country in his van during the midst of the pandemic, Rupert found himself captivated by the mountains and the high desert landscapes of the south west along with the culture, art and life that inhabits it. Since moving out West, he has shifted his more east coast street art inspired style into the realm and the greater tradition of southwest painting. Rupert currently lives and works out of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
