Being a local Arizona artist, I am deeply affected by the Sonoran Desert surrounding me. My art reveals the distinct personalities of the animals that call Arizona their home. I hand cut each piece of glass with specialized wheeled nippers to create my mosaic portraits. After the portrait is completed, I grout the piece to reveal it's beautiful cracks. My background has been as a self-taught artist after discovering my love for mosaics and beautiful glass.
