Meisha Grichuhin
Meisha Grichuhin was born in San Jose, California in 1987, studied painting at the Academy of Art University, and graduated with the honor of Valedictorian in 2015.
She describes her style as “impressionistic realism,” and strives to capture the light and essence of a subject while retaining the artist’s viewpoint and evidence of the artist’s hand. She loves painting “en plein air” especially, using all five senses to absorb the landscape. This immersion allows her to truly study her subject and bask in the radiance of nature.
She currently lives with her husband and their four cats in Southern California where the temperate climate allows for year round outdoor painting.
