Kevin was born and raised in Evansville, Indiana. He acquired a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Indiana and has been a professional working artist for nearly thirty years. Kevin’s work has been shown in Norway, Germany, Thailand, Japan, Canada, and the US.
In addition to his studio practice, in 2017 Kevin began creating site specific installation works. These pieces are large scale and as also with his studio work, constructed with found and scavenged materials.
Kevin has appeared on several podcasts as well as public television broadcasts in Indiana and Quebec. The documentary “Sack Race With Knives: The Curious Art Of Kevin Titzer” by Jordan Barclay is currently touring film festivals across the US.
