Dr Iris Yang

Dr. Iris Yang (Qing Yang) is an author of three historical novels, two photo books (“Enjoy Flower I” and “Enjoy Flower II” published in China), and a dozen Chinese magazine articles with photos (one of her photos was used as the cover of China Nature). Her photos have won a few photo contests. She also has a Ph.D. in molecular biology.

Her historical trilogy about the Flying Tigers—Wings of a Flying Tiger, Will of a Tiger, Legacy of the Tigers—has been published by Open Books. She was interviewed on National Public Radio, and she was a guest speaker at the Flying Tigers WWII Veterans 78th Anniversary Reunion.

As an avid hiker, she is passionate about nature photography including landscapes, flowers, birds, and other animals.
