More than just a celebration of Reitz’s singular voice in American ceramics\, this exhibition highlights the deep and lasting impact he had on the lives and practices of the artists who supported his studio. Through shared labor\, experimentation\, and conversation\, these assistants became part of a living lineage—absorbing Reitz’s fearless energy\, his love of fire and form\, and the raw honesty he brought to the material. \nThis exhibition features ceramic works by a select group of artists who worked closely with Reitz\, alongside pieces from Reitz himself. Each artist contributes not only their work but also a written reflection on their time at the ranch and the ways Reitz’s mentorship shaped their creative path. Together\, these works tell a story of legacy—not as imitation\, but as ignition: a spark passed from one hand to another\, kept alive in new forms\, new fires\, and new voices.

DESCRIPTION:Big Gay Art Show\nJune 6th – July 25th\, 2025\nSedona Arts Center proudly presents the return of The Big Gay Art Show — a vibrant juried exhibition celebrating creative expression from the rainbow communities and their allies. This much-anticipated show invites artists of all backgrounds\, levels\, and mediums to share their voice through visual art. \nOriginally conceptualized in 2012 by a small group of artists and supporters — some connected to Sedona Arts Center and others from the Sedona Pride organization — the show began as a platform to uplift and include the rainbow community in the local arts scene.
