Twin Spires by Mary Helsaple
Artists often choose landscape subjects to paint that are metaphors for other things in their lives. Artists’ work is often infused with that kind of vibe. When I painted Twin Spires, I was thinking about my sister and the many friendships I have that add so much continuity to my life. They inspire and give strength to move toward the future and all its possibilities.
