Ro Robertson

Ro Robertson is a nonbinary multimedia sculpture artist. They grew up in Lumberton, New Jersey and graduated from Alfred University with honors with a BFA, a minor in Dance, and a minor art history in May of 2023. Since graduating, Ro has focused their efforts on honing their art practice, which is based on their experiences as a queer person; with a special focus in activism and celebration of self discovery. Often combining materials and techniques; Ro makes work in ceramic, glass, chainmaille, and photography. Their art making journey started by constructing small clay animals for friends' birthday celebrations, in this way their work has had a continued purpose to benefit and bring joy to others in their community.
