Brian attended the Art Institute of Boston and Tobias Art School UK. He spent 27 years teaching upper school art at Michael Hall Waldorf School in the UK. At the Sedona Art Center Brian has been teaching the popular Fun with Art and Wine class.
Melanie was born under the bright blue skies in Zambia, where the earth tones are not dissimilar to those here in Sedona, though the landscapes differ greatly. She has had an enduring passion for the outdoors and being at one with nature, as well as recognizing the “presence of place.” Melanie has drawn and painted throughout her life, firstly in Africa, followed by New Zealand, England and now Arizona.
Melanie’s education and career began in the Sciences; followed by six years running a Restaurant; next came life as student studying Waldorf Education (Rudolf Steiner) in Sussex, England. Then accomplishing a double Fine Art degree whilst teaching a reduced schedule.
