Immerse yourself in the breathtaking red rock landscape of Sedona for a workshop that blends art history, introspection, and playful experimentation. In Dream Keeper, you’ll create a one-of-a-kind Dream Deck—a collection of mixed media art cards infused with personal symbolism, hidden meanings, and surrealist inspiration using collage and experimental painting and printing techniques.

Together, we’ll explore the world of Surrealist art, drawing from the works of Sedona’s very own Max Ernst, and various other artists who challenged reality and embraced the unexpected. Inspired by their dreamlike imagery and provocative juxtapositions, you’ll craft a deck that bridges fantasy and the everyday, transforming ordinary moments into portals of imagination.

By the end of this workshop, you’ll have a fully realized Dream Deck—an artful tool to spark inspiration, nurture your creative practice, and keep you connected to your dreams. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or new to mixed media, this experience will invite you to see your art and your world through a fresh, surrealist lens.

Join us in Sedona, where the energy of the landscape and the spirit of Surrealism will awaken your imagination!

All levels welcome—no formal drawing skills needed.
