The following work celebrates family life within the gay community .Same sex families are increasingly recognized as valid and diverse family structures , challenging traditional notions of what constitutes a family . Sociological perspectives emphasize the importance of love , commitment and equality as a basis for family relationships regardless of sexual orientation .
Since moving to Sedona , Ms Katzen’s paintings have been seen on display in several exhibitions at The Sedona Art’s Center including “ What Sedona Means To Me “ , “The Big Gay Art Show “” The Surrealism Show “, “The Number’s Show as well as several “Member’s Shows”.
