Description
The medieval walled town of Besalu, Spain sits at the place where the rivers Fluvia and Capadella meet in the hills of Catalonia. The town is entered across a 12th century Roamn Bridge and in the main square is the Church of Saint Pere. It is the last remaining part of the Benedictine monastery founded in 977 by Earl-Bishop Miro. The image of this cross was found while exploring one of the many cobble stone streets of the town.
