Laura works almost completely outdoors, finishing each piece in the field. Because her work is about that moment, that light, that day, each piece is a recording of the beauty that made her stop at that spot on the trail and set up to paint. She readily acknowledges there is not one way better than the other to produce “plein air” this is simply the way she works.
