Description
The Ecole des Beaux-Artes de Paris is the most famous art school in France. Its orgins date back to 1648 and many of the great artists of European history were trained there. The school is located on the left bank of the River Seine across from the famous Lourve Museum.
The design for this cross was inspired by a stone carving decorating the outer wall of the school.
