I have been photographing the landscape of the American West since 2001. Having worked with 4×5 transparency film, I currently use a Fujifilm GFX-50R digital camera. My work has won several awards at the 29 Palms Gallery, Sedona Arts Center, and 2012 Best of Nature Show at the San Diego Museum of Natural History.
I currently show my work at the Desert Art Center in Palm Springs, California, The Galen in Palm Desert, California, and the Joshua Tree Art Gallery (JTAG) in Joshua Tree, California.
My image “Spider Rock” was published in the National Geographic book
“Destinations of a Lifetime”.
Philosophically I consider myself primarily an observer rather than a creator. The creation is already present. It just needs to be captured in its best light.
