Megan Levine (She/Her)

Megan Levine is an artist and mathematics educator in the San Francisco Bay Area. She makes collages with hand painted paper, ink, and acrylic on stretched canvas. Driving this practice is her fascination with relationships— human, mathematical, and linguistic— and how they translate into abstract form. Levine’s signature series Tribadometry was born as a response to the societal misconception that lesbian sex isn’t “real” and subverts straight entitlement to queer experiences. Levine’s work has exhibited in shows including Piedmont Center for the Arts juried show (2019), and “Collage and Mixed Media” for San Francisco Women Artists (2021), and her solo pop up exhibition Circular Relativity (2022).
