Max Stone is a poet, writer and artist from Reno, Nevada. He played soccer at Queens College in New York City before returning to Reno to earn his MFA in poetry and BA in English with a minor in book arts and publication from the University of Nevada, Reno. He is the author of the chapbooks The Bisexual Lighting Makes Everyone Beautiful (Ghost City Press) and Temporary Preparations (Bottlecap Press). He received a fellowship to attend the Community of Writers poetry workshop, and his work has been nominated for Best of the Net and the Pushcart Prize. Stone is the creator, curator, and host of Landline Poetry Series.
