I am a 34-year-old painter currently residing in Meridian, Idaho where I live with my husband, 3 children, and my toy poodle who doesn’t pay rent. I have loved all things creative for as long as I can remember. My interest was truly sparked when I visited my grandparents in England as a child. My Granddad has this incredible art shed in the backyard of their garden and it was filled with wonderful hand painted stones, jars and amazing ink drawings of English towns. It felt like magic to me and from then on I was sure I wanted to live a creative life. I took art classes all throughout high school and attended Utah Valley University where I decided to take the practical route and major in graphic design, while also taking every painting elective I could. After working in graphic design for a few years, I realized it just wasn’t my passion, and began to devote more time to painting while raising my three kids. Parenting keeps me on my toes, but I find any spare moment I can to paint.
